a classical piece based on the intricate dramatic build-up. There is, in fact, very little drama in here. What is more important is the creation of an intimate conversational atmosphere between the protagonist and the spectator, similar to that between friends.
Such versatility is a rare thing amongst younger actors. He cannot so easily be labelled a comedic or dramatic actor. He can’t be pigeonholed. He is simply a master of his craft. A consummate, dedicated professional who pays strict attention to detail. None of his gestures or glances are accidental. And he always has a smile for everyone, whatever the circumstances.
Marcin's story which he put in a script of solo act. A Practical Comedy for One Actor, Preferably Unemployed' is a real story about a series of events in the life of a certain unemployed artist. It's a tale of determination and the struggle for one's dreams, yet important things are spoken of lightly here, without complaining about the unemployed's fate. The script describes the protagonist's experience looking for a job, with priority given to his reactions as he tries to keep thinking positively and viewing tough situations with humor and distance. I don’t accept any offers. Don’t call me, don’t write, I will be unavailable. Hereunder is the link to my official reel. Don’t go there. It’s rubbish. Awful. So bad that I actually cried when I saw it for the first time. Its shit. Generally speaking, nobodys ever interested in me. One day on set Kevin Spacey told me ‘shut up’. I could see his point. I am practically speaking pretty awful all round. Oh, and I bring bad luck. You can ask Stephen Baldwin. We were camping. Everything was great, was just fine and dandy; Zbigniew Zamachowski an actor from Kieslowski was teaching me to play poker in my tent, and all Stephen did was set up his tent near mine and it collapsed with him inside. I'm bad luck. There was no other reason for it. In movies I get cast to in all the lead roles...only they're never in a helpful language , like English, or even German. so I made a solo act about being jobless, I performed it almost a hundred times in Poland, in England, Germany, Iran, India and at National Theatre in Reykjavik.I never get invited to perform in the Polish national theatres. Any of them. you see, I'm bad luck, and Polish career is cursed. So it lives far away from my homeland, in Chicago, where I was published few times, or wherever. So between you and me , I wouldn't recommend Marcin Zarzeczny. He's just a bit awful.
I don't recommend,
